He was predeceased by: his father Charles Proffitt; and his sister Teri. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Whittington and Jeffery Proffitt Jr.; his grandchildren, Peyton, Kristen, Kyleigh, Isabelle, Vivian, Briar, Alivia and Bennett; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Kaiden and Owen; and his siblings, Charles Proffitt (Sue), Jerry Proffitt (Kathy) and Karen Dylenski (Edward). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
