He is survived by: his son Patrick McDonnell (Lacy); his grandchildren, Austin, Blaiz and Brylie; and his siblings, Madelyn McDonnell (Lee), William McDonnell (Katherine) and Richard McDonnell (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
