He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tessin and Maria Tessin (Montemayor); his wife Maxine Tessin; and his brothers, Dan and Rubin Tessin.

He is survived by: his children, Jon Tessin (Catherine) of Colorado Springs and Kim Lashuay (Steve) of Midland; his grandchildren, Curtis (Samantha), Jessica, Marissa, Nicholas and Kaitlyn; his sister Alice Blumke (Dennis); and his nephew Bill Rogers.

Memorial contributions may be offered to Cancer Services of Midland County.
