It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Allen Slagel of Midland, Michigan, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Slagel and Maryane Slagel (Ropp). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Elaine Slagel; his children, Faith Gardner (Terry) and Steve Slagel (Barbara Jean); his grandchildren, Erica Gardner, Carrie Scholten (Eric), Trent Gardner (Emily), Luke Slagel (Nicky) and Andrew Slagel (Megan); and his siblings, Shirley Litwiller, Lynn Slagel (Cindy) and Mary Ellen Bessinger (Ed). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Community Church of Midland (2510 E Stewart Rd, Midland, MI 48640).
