He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Bennett and Clementine Bennett (Pinkston) of October. He is survived by: his wife Nedy Elizabeth Carter; his children, Melissa Murray (Tom), Blair Bennett (Connie), Shauna Bryant (John), Beth Owens (Rob) and Shelly Wearn (Jon); his grandchildren, Stephanie Sharp (Rob), Kristy Mancini (Emanuel), Melanie Dean, Amelia Bennett, Buck Bennett, Spencer Schaub, Mady Owen, Logan Owen, Omyjah Bryant and Maria Thomas (Josh); his siblings, Wayne Bennett (Kerry) and Jeannette Campesino (Angel); and his sister-in-law Fran Carnley (Doug). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers friends may send expressions of sympathy to the Marine/Navy Relief Association, USO, St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
