He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel DeForest (Collins) and Charles Donald DeForest; his grandson Jason Pnacek; his siblings, Don DeForest and Patty Adams; and his half-siblings, Melvin Bowman and Mary Bowman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Pnacek (Steve) of Midland and Denise Morris (Jim); his grandchildren, Heather Strike (Leo) of Midland and Marty Wilkinson; his great grandchildren, Joshua Strike (Coryn) of Bay City and Rebekah Strike of Midland; his brother Phil DeForest (Wilma); and his half-sister Lila Martin.
Anyone considering an expression of sympathy are asked to donate to Midland County Pit Stop, who lovingly found a home for Dave's Toy Fox Terrier, Fred Astaire.
