He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Kennedy and Mabel Kennedy (Fick); his former wives, Georgene M. Kennedy (Austin) and Helen Kennedy (Sherwood); his son Dennis Kennedy; his stepsons, Merle and Larry Burgess; and his siblings, Kenneth, Nelson, Ray, Darlene and Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Kennedy (Burgess); his stepchildren, Burgess Dell-Wilson and Randy Burgess; his daughters, Linda Johnston (Joe), Mary Kennedy and Marlene Liechty (Scott); his stepchildren, Larry Sherwood (Karen), Kathy Hawkins (Lon) and Ronald Sherwood; his grandchildren, Jennifer, John, Jeffrey, Matthew, Nicholas, Daele, Ian, Clifton and Madeline; his stepgrandchildren, Larry Paul, Roseann, John, Mae, Michille, David, Michelle, Heidi, Jason, Steven, Kristen, Lauren and Megan; and his siblings, Larry Kennedy (Myrtle), Clarence Kennedy (Ruth), Betty Summers, Annabelle King and Deanna McRoberts. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
