Caroline Gunkler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2023, at the age of 97, Caroline Gunkler of Midland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Waterfall and Zetta Waterfall; her husband Al Gunkler; and her son Todd Gunkler. She is survived by: her children, John Gunkler (Carolyn), Jan Kern (Jim), Lynn Hoffmann (Brian) and Pam Gunkler (Wally Mateusiak); her grandchildren, Jason Kern (Jami), Geoff Gunkler (Michelle) and Ryan Kern (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Dawson and Aspen; her granddaughter Emily Paslay (Marcus); and her great grandchildren, Henley, Hudson, Chase Mateusiak (Laura Devault), Annie Hoffmann (Drew McGuire), Wesley Mateusiak (Jessica Reehorst) and Sarah Hoffmann (Andrew Brus).
