It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy P. Krauss of Midland, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Rohde; his daughter Jennifer; his parents, Albert and Hulda; and his brother Lewellyn.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Freeland (Tom), Cassie Heiss (Eric), Mike Krauss (Kat Appleman) and Jeff Krauss (Lynn); his grandchildren, Erin Ledyard (Justin), Sara Freeland (James Walker), Kathryn Schikora (Joe), Daniel Krauss (Bri), Sage Heiss, Adam Heiss (Sydney Gordon), Donnie Appleman (Angela) and Shem Appleman; his great grandchildren, Eli, Jake, Ada, Ember, Kora, Evelyn, Robert, Henry and Duncan; his sister Carol Lovell (James); and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Rohde (Don) and JoAnne Rohde (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (545 7th St, Freeland, MI 48623). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
