He was predeceased by: his father James Stone, Sr.; and his parents-in-law, Raphael Augustine, Sr. and Mae Rita Augustine. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Lombard Stone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his wife Bridget Augustine Stone of Midland, Michigan; his brothers, James Stone, Jr. (Phyllis) of Somerset, Daniel Stone (Nicole) of Seattle, Christopher Stone (Kimberly) of Canyon Country and Darryl Stone (Shamell) of Phoenix, Arizona; and his godson Charles Tyler Fletcher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (3109 Swede Ave, Midland, MI 48642). A vigil service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home (1200 W Wheeler St, Midland, MI 48640).
