He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lawrence and Lucille Lawrence (Miller); and his sister-in-law Jackie Emmert. He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Cathy); his children, Joe Lawrence (Dawn), Amie England (Brian) and Rob Lawrence (Carmen); his grandchildren, Zach (Grace), Austin (Holly), Emily (Damon), Trevor, Parker (Amanda), Aidan, Brenden, Sailor, Nataleah and Lilah; his great grandchildren, Kamryn, Breton and Braylin; his siblings, Sue Windish (Richard) and Dan Lawrence (Carla); and his sister-in-law Chris Holt (Doug). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
