James left this world on January 7, 2025 at the age of 61, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Mooney and Letha Mooney; and his sisters, Kathleen and Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Nicole; his children, Nicholas Mooney, Amy Farrell (Michael), Brett Schultz (Nicole), Tanner Schultz (Emma) and Dylan Schultz; his siblings, Denise Hamner, Laura Otto and Michael Mooney (JoAnn); his mother-in-law Kaye Belson; his brother-in-law Bryan Belson; and his pets, Boone, Otis and Ruby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (616 E Main St SE, Caledonia, MI 49316). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
