He was predeceased by: his former wife Madeline; his significant other Sharon Howard; and his daughter Katherine Wenger. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Joseph Wenger (Lisa) and Cheryl Deremiah; his grandchildren, Alexander Wenger, Samantha Wenger and Jesse Wenger; his partner's children, Gloria Schram (Don), Diane Benz, Michele Howard, Linda Howard and Angela Hart (Jay); and his stepdaughters, Lisa Thrush and Kelli Thrush. He is also survived by many step grandchildren; and step great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in honor of Howard may be made to Dutton Firefighters Association.
