It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheryl McWhinney of Middleville, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Gordon and Lois McWhinney (Redman); her siblings, Suzanne Verburg and Rusty McWhinney; and her sisters-in-law, Jennifer, Judy and Marilyn McWhinney.

She is survived by: her brothers, Jerry McWhinney (Elaine), Marvin McWhinney (Patti) and Bruce McWhinney; her brother-in-law Richard Verburg; her nieces and nephews, Linn, Lisa, Joel, Eric, Jestin, Katie, Gabe and Janine; and her close friends, Chris Mugridge, John and Carolyn Steensma.

Memorial contributions to the Barry County Humane Society will be appreciated.
