With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Pierce of Middleton, Michigan, born in Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanne Pierce to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Porter Palmer and Mary Louise Palmer (Curtis); her adoptive father Harley Counseller; her children, Mary Woodard, Kenneth Pierce (Sharon), Anita Walsh (David), Timothy Pierce (Annette) and Caren Wonsey (Larry); her husband Richard E. Pierce; her sister Lillian Jance; and her close friend Fred. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and numerous other friends.

Donations in Joanne's honor may be made to the Middleton Community Church.
