He is survived by: his wife Lois; and his children, Danny Carter (Julie) of Lynchburg, Debra Moore (Richard) of Midland and Ronnie Carter (Tina) of Jackson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
