With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Dallas Smith of Michigan Center, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harold Lawrence; his son Roger Smith; his stepdaughter Diana Estey; and his brothers, Don, Bob, Jack and Jerry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Janet I. Smith (Overmyer); his son Randy A. Smith (Susan); his stepchildren, Thomas Williams (Cindy), Bill Williams (DeLynn), Donita Wells, Lorraine Butler (Pete) and Phil Williams (Lisa); and his siblings, Danny Smith (Gail) and Patty Winningham. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
