He is survived by: his son John R. Velner (Pam) of Adrian; his stepchildren, Kathleen Potter-Maddin and Andrew Clemons (Patty); and his brother Paul Velner of Jackson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.
