He was predeceased by: his brothers, Walter "Walt" McUmber and Richard "Dick" McUmber; and his sister-in-law Clara Miller. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ella (Wetherby); his children, Joel McUmber (Roxie) of Manchester, MI, Linda Bumpus of Lake Columbia and John McUmber (Shari) of Spring Arbor; his sister Barbara Bemish (Brent); his mothers-in-law, Euna Mae McUmber and Theresa "Terri" McUmber; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Mulnix, Nancy Harris and Perry Wetherby. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
