It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dena Ewing of Michigan Center, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William DeBack; her daughter Patricia "Tricia" Sussex; her nephew Kevin Myers; her mother-in-law Marilyn Ewing; and her brothers-in-law, Dave DeRushia and Mike Knight.
She is survived by: her mother Leora DeBack (Samuels); her husband Tom; her daughters, Lora Sussex (Mark Hough) and Alicia Sussex (Troy VanAntwerp); her stepchildren, Andrew Thomas Gary Ewing, Melissa Dillay (John III) and Jessica Naylor (Jeff Endreszl); her son-in-law Randy Brier; her grandchildren, Tavian, Carson, Madison, Ashton and Jacob; her siblings, William DeBack (Susie), Karen DeBack, Deborah DeRushia, Susan Wade (Alan) and Sandra Knight; her nieces and nephews, Jessica Fields, Danielle DeLeon, Abigail Brown of Kimberly Myers, A. J, Wade, Kevin Snow, Paul Snow, Alex DeBack, Chase DeBack, Brian DeRushia and Brett DeRushia; her father-in-law Paul Ewing; and her brother-in-law Chuck Ewing (Vickie). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
