He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Omans and Merlene Omans (Smith); his brothers, Daniel and David Omans; and his sister-in-law Mary Omans.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Mitchell; his son Marshall Omans of South Bend, Indiana; his brother Douglas Omans of Jackson, Michigan; and his uncle Merlyn Smith (Lilah). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
