He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (May); his parents-in-law, Russel and Josephine Manning; and his brother-in-law Jerry Malburg.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Johnson; his children, Chad Johnson (Margret), Darla Stites (Scott), Alane Kikkert (Curtis), Kurt Johnson (Danielle Smith), Russel Johnson (Shamekia), Marla Kather (Scott), Vicky Merrills (James) and Jacki Merrill (Richard); and his sister Lois Malburg. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
