It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Niemi of Michigamme, Michigan, born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley M. Niemi (Lakonen) and Einar Walter Niemi. He is survived by: his siblings, Sherri Niemi (Brad DeLongchamp) of Michigamme and Daniel Niemi (Denae Carlson) of Ishpeming; his niece Brittany Niemi (Joshua Nantelle); and his great-nephew Maverick Nantelle. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
