He is survived by: his wife Lourdes Emke; his children, Gwendolyn Platz (Greg) and Michael Emke (Heather); his grandchildren, Samantha Bruce, Michael Bruce and Ty Platz; his brother Gerald Emke (Brenda); his stepgrandson Zachary May (Bella); and his great grandchild Hazel May.
