He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Swain and Emily Swain (Sheldon); and his siblings, Jim Swain, Jean Jeakle and Elaine Strobbee.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Swain (Char) of Morley, MI and Todd Swain (Nicole) of Grand Rapids; and his friend Betty Ranger of Lapeer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
