He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Adair and Betty R. Adair (Minor); and his brothers, James Adair, Steven S. Adair and Patrick G. Adair.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his son Tyler Adair (Jen) of Oakland; his grandchildren, Kenzie and Christian "C. J." Adair; his sisters, Jessie "Brenda" Roberts of Washington and Betty "Linda" Johnson (Bob) of Imlay City; and his sister-in-law Joan Adair of Armada.
