It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce M. Butterfield of Metamora, Michigan, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Butterfield; her parents, Fred DeCaussin and Elizabeth "Bertha" DeCaussin; her granddaughter Saveta Ellis; and her brother Wayne DeCaussin.

She is survived by: her children, William Butterfield (Lori), Terria Ellis and Jerry Butterfield (Carrie); her grandchildren, Trish (Lane), Mike (Liz), Nikki (Mike), Jakob, Thomas (Jaime), Jami (Max) and Justin (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Markus, Skyler, Taylor, Saveta, Sophia, Alana, Christopher, Lincoln, Hazel and Mitchell; and her brothers, Michael "Butch" DeCaussin, Raymond DeCaussin and Robert DeCaussin (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
