James John Vanecek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2021, at the age of 74, James John Vanecek of Metamora, Michigan, born in Hazel Park, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vanecek and Helen Vanecek (Piechura); and his wife Kathleen Vanecek. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Canavesio (Mark) of Flint, John Vanecek (Jen) of Dryden, Nicholas Vanecek (Jennifer) of North Branch and Joseph Vanecek (Jenny) of Attica; his grandchildren, Hilary, Georgina, Lillian, Shelby, Tyler, Wyatt, Emma, Hayden, Cameron, Jacob, Willie and Travis; his great grandchildren, Dallas, Denver and Drew; and his brothers, Bob Vanecek (Linda) of Georgia, Tom Vanecek (Kathy) of St. Charles and Dave Vanecek (Paula) of Onekama. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions only 25 people are allowed in the funeral home at any time – masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen (breast cancer research).
