It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Jean Nicklas of Metamora, Michigan, born in Hadley, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Broecker and Sylva Broecker (Richards); her husband Earl J. Nicklas; and her siblings, Ted Broecker, Creighton Broecker and Lois Mroz.
She is survived by: her son Norman Nicklas (Connie) of Metamora; her grandchildren, Andy Nicklas (Bridget) of Metamora and Kara Dittrich (Jim) of Myrtle Beach; her great grandchildren, Delanie, Will, Jack and Coy; and her caregivers, Paul LaValley and Amanda Chavaz.
