He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Sivertson and Anna Sivertson Gornick (Chamnick); his stepfather George Michael Gornick; his parents-in-law, Alfred and Theresa Seaman; and his brothers, Mitchell Sivertson and David Sivertson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Sivertson; his sister Mary Clarkson; his children, Alice Van (John), Ronald (Christine) and Randy (Annette); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Van Allen (Gwen), Jennifer Fink (Mike), Bill Sivertson (Ashley), Brigette Buhl (Wes) and Thomas Sivertson. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, envelopes for the Aleda A. Lutz V.A. Medical Center (Saginaw) and the Disabled Veterans of America and Pathways at Michigan Masonic Home (Alma) will be available.
