He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Dotson and Dora Dotson (Montney); his wife Donna Dotson; his children, Sandy Green and Greg Mesecar; and his brother Robert Dotson.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Mesecar of Lapeer, Julie Elliott of Metamora and Tracey Fowler (Russ) of Davison; and his siblings, Charles "Jack" Dotson, Joe Dotson (Barb), Martha Dotson, Bill Dotson, Richard Dotson (Janette), David Dotson (Becky) and Roger Dotson (Gail). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
