With solemn reverence, we commemorate Donald Bracy of Metamora, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, whose life came to an end on September 7, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Bracy and Ardis Bracy (Rice); his granddaughter Hannah Farrand; and his in-laws, Frank and Chloe Best.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bracy; his children, Steve Bracy of Rochester, Cheryl Dinnan (Jim) of Romulus, Julie Farrand (Ryan) of Fowlerville and Dan Bracy (Kristen) of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Mukai Dinnan, Michael "Toshi" Dinnan, Joshua Farrand (Kaitlynn), Sarah Castlebury (Sayre), Micah Farrand, Aliya Farrand, Liliana Farrand, Taylor Bracy, Chloe Bracy, Brianna Bracy and Benjamin Bracy; his great grandchildren, Eli, Ava, Karson and Gabriella; and his siblings, Rev. Arnold Bracy (Darlene) of Lapeer, Vesta Losen of Bellville and Ron. He is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Bible Church (923 S Main St, Lapeer, MI 48446).
