He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Fitchett; his siblings, Dorothy Schmitt, Violet Wells (James), Larry Fitchett, Donny Fitchett, Dale Fitchett, Robert Mitchell, Tom Hadaway, Dave Hadaway and Mary Fitchett; and his brother-in-law James Schaffer.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Deonna Byrnes (Dan); his grandchildren, Mathew Palmer (Cailee), Daniel Byrnes and Amanda Tubbs (Chris); his great grandchildren, Adyson, Emma, Olyvia, Ivyanna Tubbs, Kendall Palmer and Gavin Palmer; his siblings, Ronald Fitchett (Shirley) and June Schaffer; and his sisters-in-law, Bevery Fitchett, Delores Mitchell and Katharine Hadaway.
