She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Evalin Smith (Dudley); her husband Walter Westphal; her son-in-law Christopher Varjabedian; and her sister Sharon Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Westphal (Ruth) of North Branch, Terry Westphal (Katherine) of Commerce Township and Tracy Varjabedian of Metamora; her grandchildren, Tara Sieh, Pete Weingartz, Christine Hernandez, Nate Weingartz, Clare Westphal, Christopher Westphal, Elizabeth Westphal, Marisa Westphal, Matthew Westphal, Christine Varjabedian, Steven Varjabedian, Cameron Johnson and Emily Spotts; her great grandchildren, Lillian, Owen, Oliver, Ava, Luke, Iyla, Wade, Madison and Lochlynn; and her sister Marilyn Dennis of Fairview. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
