He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Howard and Lila Vaughan; his aunt Mary; and his uncle Bob Baird. He is survived by: his parents, Sam Vaughan and Denise Vaughan (Mathews); his wife Olivia Vaughan; his children, Theyadore Dykstra and Oliver Vaughan; his brother Keith Vaughan; and his grandparents, David and Marlene Mathews.

Roy is providing the Gift of Life to others through his donation.
