It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Hutfilz (Merrill, Michigan), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Bigelow and Ellen Bigelow (Kohlschmidt); her husband Marvin Hutfilz; her siblings, Don (Drusilla), Eston, Jack (Dorothy), Bob (Mary Ruth), Doreen O'Toole (Robert) and JoAnn Wilson (Leon); her half-sister Kristy Brooks; and her in-laws, Bill, Maxine Hutfilz and Lois Rohde (Bill).

She is survived by: her siblings, Ron Bigelow (Dee) and Suzanne Dougherty (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
