He is survived by: his children, Zachary Bates and Amber Johnston; the parent of his children Tracy Knutson; his grandchildren, Jayson Johnston, Audri Kadinger, Lucas Flug, Sadie, Logan, Riley Larson and Kameron Curtis; and his friend Dan Randal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
