He is survived by: his parents, John Hartz and Barbara Hartz (Bergstrom) of Menominee, Michigan; his fiancée Rose Geniesse of Fremont, WI; his daughters, Carolyn Hartz (Michael Schoenherr) of Jefferson, WI and Raechel Tomes (Morgan Bathalon) of Milton, WI; and his sister Susan Relling (Thomas) of Shoreview, MN.
