With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Edward Smith Sr. of Menominee, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smith and Lucille Smith (Egan); his sisters, Betty (Frank Velich) and Barb (Richard Smith); and his brother-in-law Mike Kramer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Keller of Joseph's Church; his children, Sam Jr. (Debbie Husbeck) and Jodie Cairns; his grandchildren, Matt and Nicole Cairns; his great grandchild Josh; his grandchildren, Ryan Cairns (Char Castillo) and Alissa Larsh (Sam); and his siblings, Jim Smith (Betty) and Carol Kramer (Cookie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
