He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gignac and Lucille Gignac (Shampo); his brother Leonard Gignac; and his daughter-in-law Sharon Gignac. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Michael Gignac, Jayne Parmelee (Dan), Leslie Lawatsch (Jim), Timothy Gignac (Patty) and Philip Gignac (Jamie); his grandchildren, Erika, Jason, Heather, Brian, Jaci, Ben, Matt, Jimmy, Erin, Amanda, Libby, Jesse and Riley; and his sister-in-law Jane Gignac. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 AM. Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cadieu Funeral Home (549 10th Ave, Menominee, MI 49858). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1016 10th Ave, Menominee, MI 49858). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (1401 Memorial Dr, Menominee, MI 49858).
