He is survived by: his children, Laurie Kloida (Phil) and Michael Gilbert, Jr. (Anne); his grandchildren, David Chernetski, Erin Baumann (Matt), Matthew Gilbert (Tiara) and Erik Gilbert; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Noah, Grace, Pearl and Ruby; and his siblings, Sue Anderson, Ted, Pat (Charlie Gilbert) and Kevin Beattie.
