He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wellner and Marie Wellner Sr. (Doyle); his siblings, Patricia Grenier, Jeanne Goodlet, Alfred Jr. and Guy; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Lucille Knutson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Knutson of Menominee; his children, Richard Wellner of Menominee, Michael Wellner of Menominee and Julie Suennen (Cory) of Wausaukee, WI; his grandchildren, Nathan, Elyssa, Makenzie, Danny, Kyle and Kayden; his siblings-in-law, Judy Wellner of Green Bay and Jerry Knutson of Menominee; and his close friend Casey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
