With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Anne Stuppnig (Menominee, Michigan), who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lois Anne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lorenzoni and Emma Lorenzoni (Menghini); her husband Anthony Stuppnig Sr.; and her son Mark Stuppnig. She is survived by: her son Tony Stuppnig (Susan) of Burnsville, MN; her daughter-in-law Margie Stuppnig; and her grandchildren, Tara Votis (Steve) of Marinette, WI, Andy Stuppnig (Chantel) of Marinette, WI, Hayden Stuppnig (Katie) of Urbandale, IA and Joey Stuppnig of Minneapolis, MN..
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Parish (2607 18th St, Menominee, MI 49858).
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Lois's appreciation for the "Meals on Wheels" program during her brief illness and for her support of the "Coalition to Save the Menominee River" from sulfide mining on which her cabin sat, memorials may be made in her memory to either the Menominee Community Action Agency (Meals on Wheels) or The Coalition to Save the Menominee River.
