He is survived by: his children, Jason Vermeulen of Wallace, MI and Amy McDonald (Alex) of Menominee, MI; his grandchildren, Nick Vermeulen of Peshtigo, WI, Dr. Colton Fernstrum (Deidra) of Jackson, MS, Cade Fernstrum and Ava McDonald of Menominee, MI; his sister Judy Ball of Vulcan, MI; his friends, David Wills and Lowell Bengry; and his caregivers, Morgan, Val, Sharon, Steve and Iris.
