He was predeceased by: his parents, James Throm and LaVerne Throm (Edlebeck); his granddaughter Scarlett Mech; his brothers, John and Alan Throm; and his niece Taira Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his daughter Maggie Throm; his sisters, Jeanne Throm, Christine Zimmerman and Shirley Sanders; and his grandson Bryson Throm. He is also survived by niece, several nephews and many cousins.
