He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bertrand and Cecilia Bertrand (Hornick); his wife Karen LaFever; and his brother Tom Bertrand. He is survived by: his daughter Stacey Russell (Kyle); his grandchildren, Arianna Johnson (Ryan), Morgan Lackie (Noah Nicholson), Tanner Russell and Morgan Dähn (Johannes); his great grandchildren, Olivia and Eric; and his sister-in-law Sandra Jackson (Wayne).
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Birch Creek Cemetery (5541 Birch Creek Rd No 6, Menominee, MI 49858). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion (818 1st St, Menominee, MI 49858).
