He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Brooks and Beverly Brooks (Straub); and his siblings, Thurman Brooks and Marilyn Brooks. He is survived by: his significant other Gerry Brooks of Menominee; his children, Ben Brooks (Tina) of Stephenson, Shannon Harris (Jose' Rodriguez) of Marinette and Heather Masters (Kurt) of Menominee; his son-in-law Steve Harris of Marinette; his grandchildren, Calvin, Joseph Harris, Ethan, Ella (Cota Nelson), Eli, Ernie Masters, Savannah Patnode (Tyler), Noah Brooks, Chassidy and Brayden Harris; his great grandchild Bentley Nelson; his siblings, Andy Brooks (Lori) of Wabeno and Mary Jo Schneider; and his pet Jake.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thielen Funeral Home (1403 Newberry Ave, Marinette, WI 54143). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
