He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Frederick Butman and Eunice Butman; and his sisters, Avis Farber and Carol Root. He is survived by: his wife Ivon Ernst Butman; his children, Cheryl Blair (Rodney), Bryan Butman (Karen), Michelle Holdorf (Ken), Michael Butman (Jeanne) and Donald Butman; and his brother Robert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
