He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Tharp and Esther Tharp (Leanna); and his siblings, Jeannie Krol, Esther "Bobby" Herscha, Yvonne Johnson, Judith Copeland, Louis, Gary and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Joshua Tharp (Krystal) and Stephanie Tharp; his grandchildren, Aaliyah Powell, Aisley Tharp and Cameron Tharp; his siblings, Diana Carriveau, Ronnie Tharp (Penny) and Jimmy Tharp (Linda); and his friend Melinda Knutson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
