William Spence Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Spence of Mendon, Michigan, born in Three Rivers, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Spence and Imogene Spence (Butler); and his siblings, Tom Spence, Marlene Finley and Marilyn Erbisch.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Spence; his children, Kirk Spence (Kathy), Laurie Smith (Timm), Cam Spence (Kathy), Kerry Brletich (Jim), Jeremy Spence (Rebecca) and Jason Spence (Cheyenne); his grandchildren, Nick Gerth (Amber), Kari Schmaltz, Josh Zinsmaster (Sarah), Mindy Stewart (Bob), Trevor Zinsmaster (Mikiah), Chad Smith, Brian Smith (Kelly), Kevin Smith (Colette), Abby Mencke (Larry), Adam Spence (Kaylee), Emily Spence-Dewasurendra (Samath), Ryan Ford (Darcey), Skyler Ford (Natalie), Spencer Ford (Keely), Dakota Brletich (Emily), Austyn Spence, Caden Spence, Dalton Spence and Casey Spence; his sister Jean Wilkison (Greg); and his sister-in-law Jeanne Spence. He is also survived by thirty-four great grandchildren.
It is suggested that donations made in Bill's name be made to West Mendon Community Church, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
